Bishop of Chaos, master of Darkwoods
Heket, Younger Sister;
Bishop of Famine, master of Anura
Shamura, Older Sibling;
Bishop of Wisdom and War, master of Silk Cradle
Narinder, Younger Brother;
The One Who Waits, formerly held dominion over death.
Now, Narinder was an outsider among his siblings. While the rest held malleable domains, death was always the same. Ironically Narinder would grow bored of his position and wanted to seek out new horizons. Shamura foolishly enabled him, introduced him to ideas of change, for sharing knowledge came naturally to them. Unfortunately, Narinder's ambitions became too great, and he soon turned on his siblings. The remaining bishops were forced to chain him up and seal him away in Limbo. Narinder, now known as the One Who Waits, fought back viciously in his final moments; he tore out Leshy's eyes, slashed Heket's throat, ripped out Kallamar's ears, and split open Shamura's skull.
About a thousand years pass by. In that time, The One Who Waits had tasked many vessels with forming cults in his name as well as killing off the Bishops of the Old Faith. None had gotten far, but there was a prophecy that stated a lamb would be the one to liberate The One Who Waits. Desperate to avert this prophecy, the Bishops sacrificed every lamb they could get their hands on… Unaware they would send the chosen one straight to their enemy.
Kallamar was shocked to see the crown-wearing lamb crusading through Darkwoods, Leshy's domain. Heket told them not to bother Shamura with this news, confident Leshy and his followers could easily take care of the issue. Alas, the Lamb eventually slaughtered Leshy and took his heart for a trophy.
Kallamar was next seen in Anura, joining Heket in her home. They tried to reach Shamura, Kallamar hastily blurting out the bad news, but the bishop of wisdom could only repeat alarming visions of doom. Heket decided she would take matters into her own hands, attempting to curse the Lamb's followers to starvation on top of having her followers attack. Alas, the Lamb overcame these obstacles, and soon enough Heket also came to a messy end.
The next stop on the Lamb's crusade was Anchordeep. Kallamar's lair. Kallamar would appear before the Lamb multiple times, boasting about how other vessels had fallen before, going as far as calling Ratau in particular to be a sniveling coward before casting a series of plagues upon the Lamb's cult.
And yet the Lamb's cult recovered. The Lamb just kept returning. Not even death would stop them for long. Kallamar's cowardice reared its ugly head as the red crown returned once more. He put the blame on his siblings for chaining the One Who Waits before desperately begging for his life. He fled to his crystal temple for shelter, but the Lamb found him hiding inside. In a last ditch effort to rid himself of them, he drew power from his followers' mass sacrifice to strengthen himself for battle…
Alas, as hard as he fought, Kallamar met the same fate as his fallen siblings. In death, his spirit lingered in Purogatory, suffering through his final moments again, and again, and again. By the time the Lamb was sent back to rescue him, he could only beg for freedom and mercy before fighting them one more time...
But when he was defeated the last time, he was ressurected as a mere mortal with no crown. The Lamb promptly took him back to their cult and made him a follower, just as they have been doing with the rest of his rescued siblings. Aside from getting sick on the way in, how things go after that really depends on what the Lamb does with him...
In case his name didn't make it obvious, Kallamar appears to be a giant teal squid with hands. His mouth opens vertically, with many sharp teeth inside. Like the other bishops, his eyes are solid black with red slits for pupils. Huge chunks have been torn from his ears, which he must keep bandaged to manage the eternal bleeding. He also has a large scar across his left eye and seems to be leaking black fluid from his mouth and clothes.
All active bishops of the Old Faith wear long dark cloaks with golden embellishments, crosses for head decorations, and a black crown with dark powers. Kallamar's crown is crown shaped with a circular blue eye, and his robes seem to be quilted.
After being rescued from purogatory and dragged to the Lamb's cult for indoctrination, he turns into a much smaller, less demonic version of himself. He still has all his scars, but the top slit of his mouth seems to have been sewn shut. In addition, he's stuck wearing the uniform robes of the Lamb's followers.
Possible NERF: Due to being cut off from his followers, he can only curse one person with disease per day. Sometimes the curse doesn't work at all. (OOC: See permissions post.)
Possible NERF: Again, takes a lot of energy. Plus, after a certain amount of time, he will be forced into his previous form and be rendered totally exhausted. A full day's rest might help, assuming nobody takes advantage of his weakened state. Because of this, he uses his monsterous form sparingly.
NERF: Due to being cut off from his followers, he is unable to summon anything with his staff.
NERF: 10 minute cooldown, 20 minutes if using larger attacks.
I would like to point out he is also able to breathe on land like the rest of his siblings. How does he do it? Well, how is a squid directly related to a cat, a frog, a spider, and a worm/bush creature? They're bound by the crown, not by blood. Don't bother yourself with trivial matters.
